In the early nineties with the start of the grunge era, Ofir, who was already
vastly inspired by music, decided to pick up a guitar and start creating his own
wall of sound.
During his studies in France, where he studied the craft of illustration, animation
and comics, Ofir continued to peruse his tremendous love for music.
On his return to Israel, with a wide range of songs, Ofir entered the studio
and started recording with acknowledged Israeli musicians.
“Random Urban ” was formed, and will release a 10-songs album
this coming August.
Ofir’s music is deeply personal and expressive. His writing is straight forward,
honest and revealing, striving to expose himself in the most primal form.
In his debut album “A frequency which leaves a mark”, Ofir sheds light
on the manic Urban life in Tel-Aviv, he scrutinized his personal experiences
and used it as inspiration for the album.
